BUYER REPRESENTATION

A Buyer's Agent will look after a buyer's best interests and will:

  • locate suitable properties, listed and unlisted
  • provide and interpret information regarding comparable properties sold
  • keep buyer's identity confidential (if requested)

  • disclose and verify all information about a property pertinent to buyer

Who pays the Buyer's Agent? 

In most cases the Buyer's Agent will receive commission from the real estate transaction as established through the Multiple Listing Service contract.

Remember, when you respond to an advertisement from a listing agent, that agent is working for the Seller.

When a Seller lists his property for sale, the Seller hires an agent to work for him and to represent his best interest.  It only makes sense for a Buyer to have his own agentrepresentation as well.
